My name is Lisa. Massive fan of Stefan Sagmeister, Alexander McQueen, cheese, poorly-thought-out Marvel characters, and disco. I'm a 36 y/o non-trad art student (bronze sculpture and communication design) living in TX after a lifetime in CA and NYC.

Dealing with a little culture shock here.

I stumbled on KOL as a bored temp receptionist in 2007. After accepting a job that had actual work for me, abandoned that account and forgot about KOL until recently. Spent an ungodly number of turns my first new run until someone smart suggested that I get out of the sea, join a clan, and perm a lot of skills before going deep. Joining an older crowd like you lot sounded perfect after years in a dorm full of kids.
