Hi. I'm Joel. I've played before, back in 2006/2007, but lost my accounts to inactivity after all my IRL friends moved on to other games and I wanted to be cool.
I started up a new one recently, and I'm already feeling new to this again.
Guess that comes with the fact I've been away for so long.

I want to get into the community here, since last time I never bothered with the social elements of the game, what with playing with friends I saw every day.

Currently no alts, though I may get around to that eventually.

I joined the game, made this account, forgot about it for a year, joined this clan, and now here I am.

I live in California, working for a television station. I first found KoL thanks to the mushroom fields when looking for games involving gardening, loved the place, and have been clowning around the kingdom ever since.

Hi IRL my name is Jim and I currently live in Ottawa, Canada (the town that fun forgot). I am (as of writing this) a 48 year old single parent with two now adult daughters aged 20 and 18. Both are gamers but neither plays KoL, go figure. I am a big fan of RPGs (the games, not the weapons) of all forms and have been playing since I was a young teen (I have a particular weak spot for JRPG video games). I've apparently been playing KoL since about 8 months before I moved back to Canada from where I was working in North Carolina, USA (2009). After a "fun-filled" 25-year long career doing high-technology and project management thingies internationally, I walked away from it all and have been a full time undergraduate starving student at Carleton University since 2009 (my first time going to a post-secondary institution). I'm a bit slow at it with everything I have going on (and my brain isn't as spry as it once was), but I expect to graduate in two years with honours degrees in both Theoretical Physics and Feminist Studies (trying to fire both sides of my brain at once). I am also a private pilot, inventor, amateur musician, and I have a weekly radio show on CKCU called "The Dollar Bin" where I play music I have randomly found in dollar bins (must be $3 or less for sale in a retail store), almost all of which I had never heard before, by bands I didn't know: http://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/371/info.html. Hello all, I'm Beljeferon, a long time player of KoL and fairly newish member of the clan.  I'm also dreadfully ignorant of forum use... yup, gotta admit it.  lol 

Been playing the game for about 7 years or so, ran a successful clan (which is now floundering horribly because I passed the keys to the wrong people apparently...<<sigh>>), and am a huge familiar, tattoo and trophy ****.  =)  Gotta love a game that feeds my ODC!  lol

An early 90's child, but I was definitely born in the wrong decade.

I grew up listening to my Mother's ABBA / BeeGees record collection, so you can imagine my excitement when I first found out that one of this game's characters was a Disco Bandit.

I work at an on-line customer support center, with full internet access at my station during work-hours, so I have a lot of free time between chats with customers to adventure on kol.
