I'm a 30yo IT guy.  I'm new to KoL.  It fits very nicely in the gap left behind by my cookie clicker addiction.

I grew up in the St. Louis area, but now I'm in Iowa.  It's cold up here.

Early Forties, kids, wife. Love sci-fi/fantasy. I was part of the clan a couple years back but never got real involved. I posted a couple times in the old forums around the "floaty sand" time. I only see "The Welcome Wagon" and wonder if there is something I am not seeing.

I made the mistake of remembering Crimbo this December and kinda got sucked back in. Who knows if it will last? Currently doing some lazy meatfarming to get a Mr. A.  The lure of the new sea content is strong as it was not here when I left and I just reloaded Mafia.

Hello!  I'm Emily.  I'm 24 & live in the United States.  I work in an elementary school.  I've recently begun KOL; so far it is great. Games aren't usually my thing but  something about this draws me in.  When not working or in front of a computer I am generally reading or exploring.

I'm Olorin, a 43-ish parent of a 10 year old girl, a 17 year old parrot and a ten month old puppy.  My spouse and I live in the south burbs of Chicago.  We are professional musicians who struggle to eeek out a living up here, so I work an office job up in Chicago to make ends meet.  I love old adventure games and found KoL 6+ years ago.

Hi clannies, my name is Charles and I live in Saint Louis.  A friend got me onto this game and I enjoy playing it in between graduate studies for Education.  I also enjoy outdoor activities such as backpacking, and geek out with Magic the Gathering as well.

Call me Joe. Been playing on and off since at least 100 years ago. Okay not really. About 8 years or so now. Went through a half dozen accounts over the years before finally settling. Currently slowly piddling through college to join that sweet sweet stem field. Honestly spend most of my "internet" socializing on 4chan. But hey, maybe this whole internet handle thing isn't crazy. Supposedly you crazies don't bite too hard. I love to meet people, in all walks of life. Enjoy reading most things. Almost read through tv tropes once or twice, so if you like any sort of fiction we can probably have lots of fun.

I'm Jeff, 42, 2 kids age 15 & 18 (oldest one is graduating in a few weeks, still trying to wrap my head around that). I did 39 years in Chicago, then I came to my senses & moved to just outside of Phoenix.

An adventurer have been I for a long time, but I went inactive for quite awhile.

My RL name is Jean.  I have used my screen name on a few RPGs when I first started playing games.  I wanted something that described my easy-going personality. Soon after I realized it wasn't a very good role playing name, but I still use it on a few places and since you can't change names here, its still here.  You can call me Jean or "Nexie" if you want to use my game name.   My new name on other games is either Eden Dawn, or Jeyne.

I live in Southern Wisconsin, USA.  I will be turning 46 in 2 days, married for 24 years this September, no kids but a HUGE garden.  Almost 2 acres that we take care of ourselves mostly for fun and of course food.  Five years ago I lost a job I loved (and had for 18 years) due to cutbacks and the economy.  I found another and am grateful that I did, but I hate it so don't ask :P 

I haven't been very active here despite enjoying the quirkiness of the game. I am trying to get on more, and would like to learn more about all the aspects of the game, including the clan basement, buff bots, etc.
