Hi everyone, I first played kol back in 2004/5 but have no idea what my account name was back then. I rediscovered kol in Feb 2016. It is vast now compared to back then!

I have two sons, one is 12 and the other is 22. The 22 yo just got out of the Navy and is now in college full time. The 12 yo, plays video games and mimics Jim Carrey.

I found KOL via Reddit and am already addicted! I also love to read and sew.

Hi! I'm Andrew. I'm 33, in Sacramento, California. I'm a lawyer (relatively new to the profession), formerly a neuroscientist. I also play viola in two orchestras and compose music in my spare time, and also enjoy cooking and both playing and watching soccer.

I've actually been playing KoL fairly consistently since 2008, except for a hiatus of about 4 months in early 2016. Just joined this clan after realizing that my last clan had gradually withered away over the years (I was the only one who had played since last September, and only one other player had played since 2015.) Recently got an account to edit the KolWiki too, though so far I've only used it to mention pop culture or other real-world references.

I'm a forty-something London-based lady. I have one seven-year-old son and a husband who works for a digital content agency. (He finds my obsession with KOL charmingly old-school.)  Before my brain atrophied under piles of laundry, I was a researcher for parliament and now I play the guitar to try to lay down new neural pathways and because I love music. I discovered the game when it was mentioned on the They Might be Giants wiki and found it to so up my street it's parked in my driveway, honking its horn. Chatroom has been a bit quiet so far. Where is everyone?

Hi, my name's Chad. I'm 37, live in California and have been in the Air Force for just over 18 years. I started playing back in '06 after reading an article about a murderer.

I remember selling a Mr. A for $5M when that was a premium price, I remember selling a drink to a clan member that included a tiny plastic sword for a little over $5k thinking I had just hit the lottery. I won out on the Mr. A at the time and absolutely lost out on the TPS both then and now.

I've popped in and out of the game at random throughout the years, not keeping up like I should but I keep forgetting that I like this game.

I'm a Geek of a Certain Age, which is kind of unsurprising given that most of the in-game jokes are aimed at, well, geeks of a certain age.

About to turn thirty-eleven, engineer, New Englander transplanted to the midwest, two kids who also had accounts back in the long-ago times, maybe around 2006-7? and who are now doing things like "going to college" and "driving my truck." (Yikes.)

Anyway, I'm a plenty-one year old IT engineer, currently living in South Florida. I was born in upstate SC, and also spent quite a few years in Richmond, VA.

I'm a huge Star Wars geek, enjoy most pop culture, sci-fi/fantasy stuff, except Dr. Who. I'm sorry, I've tried multiple times, and just can't get into it.

I started playing KoL in 2008, lost interest after about a year and took a six-year break. I re-discovered the game around September 2016, only to find there was no one left in my old clan. I'm so happy I've fouind Old CWs, as the people here are just fantastic! I normally play from work, so will be hanging out in chat usually in the late mornings, east coast U.S. time. Hi everyone!  I'm Jenner!

I got into KoL a LONG time ago (like 2008), and played it solid for a couple years.  I was even a member of this clan back then and power-raiding Hobopolis with the crew in the Tautology side-clan. Well, I guess I got bored or distracted or some fancier, flashier game caught my attention because I disappeared for 6 years.  Well, West of Loathing hit Steam, and I got a bit homesick and returned.   

It's been rough!  KoL is a complex game, and a LOT changed since I last played.   But, I'm studying up, learning the new tricks, and hope to be back into the swing of things soon! 

Outside the game I'm 43 and married.  My wife loves some of the jokes in the game that I show her but not enough to play it herself.  I'm an avid gamer and have been playing since the Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 era.  Currently I'm a big fan of Elite Dangerous, Warframe, Overwatch, anything released by Tell-Tale Games (amazing stories in them), and Minecraft which is another game I take frequent breaks on, but keep coming back to.  I'm a huge supporter and follower of the Star Citizen project.  I loved the book "Ready Player One" and can't wait to see it on the big-screen.  For shows, huge fan of The Orville, Mr. Robot, most any crime and detective show, South Park, and just recently (finally) started watching Game of Thrones.

By day, I'm the network administrator at a company I've been at for 11 years now where I was originally hired in as an engineer (what I have my degree in).  By night, when I'm not gaming, watching TV and hanging with my wife, I'm hanging with my main gaming group, Oddysee (www.oddysee.org), or going out to La Mesa, Kochi Sushi, Mr. Lee's or one of the other restaurants where they all know me by name, or hanging out and drinking one of the 1000's of beers at "Red, Wine & Brew" with friends who I've known since childhood.
